Growmach: the New and International destination of the Agricultural Machinery Sector  

Growmach Tractor, Agricultural Machinery, Equipment & Technologies Fair to be held by Informa for the first time in Antalya Anfaş Fair and Exhibition Center  on October 10-14, will bring together the agricultural machinery sector with national and international buyers.   

Stating that they have garnered a vast experience, accumulation of knowledge, and network for long years in the agriculture sector, Fair Director Engin Er said they receive intensive demands regarding agricultural machinery and equipment, and they would be putting into action the Growmach Fair for the first time.   

Engin Er said: “We have allocated a special space for the agricultural machinery firms in recent years at Growtech, the largest greenhouse cultivation sector of the world. The participating firms were deeply affected by Informa’s business model and Growtech’s international visitor profile. The potential and will of the Turkish agricultural machineries sector to open up to global markets have led us to hold a separate annual international agricultural machineries fair with an increasing demand. We are deeply glad that we will be bringing in excitement to the agricultural machinery sector in respect of organizing an international fair, as well as finding new markets to raise their exports volume.”   

USE OF TECHNOLOGY MATTERS FOR THE NEW GENERATION AGRICULTURE

Stating that the use of artificial intelligence and automation in global agricultural mechanization is on the rise with the help of developing technology, Engin Er drew attention to the importance of agricultural mechanization and new generation agricultural practices for ensuring efficiency and sustainability in our country.

Expressing that the state-of-the-art technology machinery and equipment will provide advantages to the producers in agricultural sector in respect of both efficiency and saving Er added: “Use technology in agriculture raises efficiency. The farmers should raise awareness with regard to modern agricultural practices in our country. Each agricultural enterprise requires different agricultural machinery and technology depending on the cultivated product, soil structure, and climate conditions. Therefore, using such tools as automatic steering system, dosage sprayer system, and drones provide major advantages for farmers as fuel, cost, workforce, and time saving, and efficiency. This year’s Growmach Fair will be attended by the firms serving in artificial intelligence and visitors will be welcome automation at the  stands with state-of-the-art products. The visitors of the Fair will find the opportunity to see the state-of-the-art machineries, products, and equipment.”

PARTICIPANTS OF THE FAIR WILL FIND NEW TRADE OPPORTUNITIES 

Stating that Growmach, as an international gathering, plays a major role in creating new trade opportunities Er said:. “As Informa, we feel the justified pride of organizing another international fair in Türkiye. The agriculture machinery and equipment firms show an intensive attention to Growmach and the field sales are continuing very rapidly. Our participants will be accessing to new markets and achieve new sales connections thus growing their turnovers. With Growmach, we will be convening our participants with sector professionals from the Middle East, Africa, Balkans, Europe, Russia & CIS countries.”   

THE FAIR WILL BE HED WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

Stating that  they will be holding an international fair with the participating firms and visitors Engin Er added: “We are glad that we will be bringing together the international agricultural machinery sector in our country. I think this fair serves a major platform to coming together with existing and potential national and international clients and creating new trade opportunities. We will be bringing together the international agricultural machinery sector in Antalya with a view to closely experiencing the development of the sector in respect of sustainability and profitability and how services facilitate the procedures. Both domestic and international firms will find the chance to connect with the targeted markets and business networks in the course of the fair. We will be holding a special “Press Availability” on day one (October 10) of the Growmach Fair with the participation of national and international press members as well as private buyers. All participants will thus find the opportunity to share information on their products and firms with the national and international press members on that special day.”

 

GROWMACH WILL HOST THE INNOVATION AWARDS 

Stating that holding Growmach Innovation Awards is among the activities to be held during Growmach, Engin Er said: “We will be holding the innovation awards ceremony under the jury presidency of Prof. Dr. Hamdi Bilgen of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Engineering at the Agricultural Faculty of Ege University. Any firms that hold relevant professional experience and operate in the machinery sector and crate innovative products may apply for these awards.”    

Expressing that the exports share of agricultural machinery has reached a substantial level currently Prof. Dr. Hamdi Bilgen said: “Türkiye is now using this potential that reached its maturity not only for agricultural machinery but also for featuring several different technologies that may be covered within other mechanization elements. Therefore, the Growmach Innovation Awards and Growmach agricultural machinery fair are preparing to be a pioneer in this field. Due particularly to its tropical-subtropical climate characteristics and four seasonal structure, Türkiye holds a great potential in respect of contributing to the agricultural mechanization processes in different parts of the world.
